Driving simulators for heavy vehicles
SIMFOR provides several configurations for our simulators depending on the characteristics of the heavy vehicle chosen, so that they can be easily adapted to the needs of every user.
The different hardware combinations (cabin, visual system, motion system, etc.) and Software combinations (simulated vehicles, exercises, instructor position, etc) are almost infinite.
ENTAC: High level Driving Simulator
ENTAC driving simulators can be considered as a reference in the field of heavy vehicles simulation.
As a result of being developed by SIMFOR , with the cooperation of INDRA, ENTAC simulators fulfill all the expectations of the tecnologically highest requests of both companies.
CETM(Spanish Confederation of Freight Companies) has cooperated with SIMFOR to develop the educational part of the simulators.
Our simulators comply with all the european legal requirements, to be used as an educational tool to get the CAP(Certificate of Proffesional Competence) both for passenger transport and for goods transport (EU Directive 2003/59).
They can also be used to teach all those students who want to get their driving license, who want to learn about rational and economic driving, how to prevent risky situations, etc.
Created to reproduce the real position on a generic vehicle (bus or truck). All the necessary information and controls to drive the vehicle are provided:

This simulator includes a motion system for the seat with two or three degrees of freedom.
If wanted, the customer will also be able to choose a motion platform to hold the whole cabin, with two to six degress of freedom.
1 central 63 ” screen and two 50” lateral screen in vertical position.
Other models of screens and projectors can be installed, if wanted.

How to use it
A) Pre-programmed exercises
The user will be able to select a wide range of exercises from ENTAC simulator menu. All these exercises will allow the user to gradually achieve different skills, from the very basic ones to the most sophisticated ones, such as economic and rational driving
Real time feedback
Our software allows the user to know all the mistakes made in real time, while doing the exercises, by audible and display messages, so that the user can be aware that he/she is not driving adequately.
All mistakes will be saved in the user´s file.
The software will generate statistics and comparative graphics, for each group and for each user.
Recording the exercises
Appart from the accounting of the mistakes, the whole exercise will be recorded in video, ready to be reproduced in any time. The user will be able to watch his/her own driving performance, as the mistake warning will also be reproduced in real time in such recording.

180 º Field of View. Automatic movement of the image on the three screens depending on the position of the driver’s head.
More than 10 different view points
Double rear-view mirrors, adjustable.
The simulator has an Instructor position (IP) from which all functions can be controlled, both in the educational and in the functional level.
From the IP one or several cabins can be controled, in a simultaneous way of simulation.
The software will allow you to:
1. select the scenario
2. select the vehicle
3. select the manual / automatic transmision
4. select the weather conditions: rain, fog, snow (different intensities)
5. select the adhesion to the pavement: dry, wet, frozen pavement.
6. Activate / deactivate breakdowns
7. Control the traffic density.
8. Drive any other traffic vehicle to interact with the students vehicle.
9. Control the level and kind of load on the vehicle.
10. Modify the control panel parametres.
11. Turn on/off ABS
12. Recording and video playback of the exercises.
13. Set and issue a report from the student
14. Generate statistics and comparative graphics, for each group and for each user.
